Not as a state crime by itself: Oregon's public indecency law covers sexual acts and exposing the genitals only when done with intent to arouse sexual desire, in or in view of a public place. State agencies also manage clothing-optional beaches such as Collins Beach on Sauvie Island, but we did not check city or county ordinances.[1][2]
Main provision: ORS 163.465 (public indecency)
Designated nude beaches or tolerance?
The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife lists Collins Beach in the Sauvie Island Wildlife Area as clothing-optional and asks users to stay within its posted boundaries. At Rooster Rock State Park, state rule OAR 736-010-0065 bans nudity in public view on park property west of an established boundary near the easternmost beach access stairway, so check the posted signs.[2][3]

AANR's club locator lists Oregon among the searchable states, and AANR's site features Mountaindale Sun Resort near Portland as a clothing-optional resort.[7][6]

Public indecency is a Class A misdemeanor (up to 364 days in jail and a $6,250 fine). It is a Class C felony if the person has a prior conviction for public indecency or certain listed sex offenses.[1][4][5]
